Your consultation will take place either via telephone or online depending on your preference. The consultation will give us the opportunity to meet each other, understand what you would like to achieve through therapy and answer any questions you may have.
-
This is difficult to answer as it is based on individual want and need. Some people come with a specific probem that can be addressed in a few sessions, other people wish to have longer-term treatment to address more complex issues. Treatment also needs be delivered at a pace that is right for you.
-
Life happens. However if you are unable to attend your appointment, please provide at least 48 hours’ notice. Unfortunately, missed appointments or those cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice may not be refunded.
-
Generally speaking, no. Therapy is deeply personal and having another person present can hinder the therapy process. In some rare cases we may agree that another person can attend a session to provide their perspective, or to act as a co-therapist, assisting with between session work.
-
I typically offer sessions between 8am-6pm Monday to Thursday
-
Payment details will be provided at the time of booking. Appointments will be confirmed once payment is received.
-
Receiving multiple forms of therapy is unlikely to be beneficial. You are welcome to be on a waiting list for another form of therapy, however you must not be actively engaging in treatment elsewhere.
